That's what I love about them. To me, they reference the intensity of the unknown when you are a child - there is a capacity for imagined fear... and I think one aspect of these photographs is the deliberate vagueness and blurring between what may be imagined fear and what is a real threat.
There is something terrifying about these. Beautiful but creepy... Hmmm. Not too sure about these. But i think maybe that was the point.
