I can't even remember exactly why I started this blog. I was encouraged to make a journal of the visual images that I loved most; to better enunciate my view of the world, and my understanding of art.
I never anticipated 201 followers.
I never imagined that through this blog I would be in contact with artists who inspire me so much; friends in art, and life.
I never imagined that I would meet the love of my life, by simply speaking my heart here.
My beloved said to me: "You know what I do to The Last Doll Standing? I offer her a seat; in my lap."
I'm so grateful for the friendship here, and for the love.
I want always to be a refuge for eccentrics, and lovers, and seekers and prayers. And those that resist because their heart insists that love is much more than they ever imagined. Bravery in the face of fear.
May this blog always be a refuge.
Thank you all.
Your Doll (The last one standing)
