I tried to find a clip of 'Revelations' to post here, but while they are so beautiful to me, they're not of the highest quality to share...especially if you haven't experienced Ailey's work before.
That being said, I watch videos of different performances of sections of his iconic 'Revelations' a lot... heart quake every single time.

Saltimbanco

Beloved took me to Cirque du Soleil's 'Saltimbanco' on the weekend. It was completely fantastic! I'd always wanted to see one of their shows and to share it with my sweetheart was even better. I can't recommend it highly enough.
